My lender affiliates will not only provide the highest and best service, but they also give the best rates available. I encourage you to shop around for the best mortgage, however be weary of online agencies and their promise to give you a lower rate; this MAY mean higher closing costs. Always ask for a good faith estimate from the financial institution you choose.

The 3 main points to be aware of when dealing with any lender are the interest rate, the points and origination fees, and any other misc. fees noted on the good faith estimate.

Loan Application – This is the standard loan application form that all lenders use.

All lenders use this form; the only variation from the attached would be their letterhead at the top. This application may be used with any mortgage company, so feel free to make copies and give to each lender you are shopping with. This is the first step in beginning the process of qualification.

 

When filling out the application, you may be brief where it asks for detailed information in section five. Example: If you have a Wells Fargo Checking Visa, simply put WF Visa. In addition, all of this information will be provided once your credit report is pulled with the lender. Fill out the blanks where applicable and those that you know; everything else can be addressed when dealing directly with the lender to fill in any other required information they may need.
